A Progressive Leadership Journey Across Three Terms
The Front Foot Leadership for Life programme is designed as a structured, progressive journey delivered across three terms. Each term builds capability deliberately, allowing participants to develop confidence, judgement, and leadership skill over time rather than through one-off sessions.
The first term establishes the core building blocks of effective leadership. Participants focus on self-awareness, communication, teamwork, and personal responsibility. The emphasis is on understanding how they show up, how they work with others, and how clear thinking and behaviour influence outcomes.
This term creates a shared language and baseline standard that underpins everything that follows.
Term 2 moves from understanding to application. Participants are challenged to lead in more complex situations, manage pressure, make decisions, and communicate effectively when things do not go to plan. Scenarios become more demanding, requiring adaptability, resilience, and accountability.
Leadership is no longer theoretical. It is tested, refined, and strengthened through experience.
The final term is about stepping forward and taking ownership. Participants are encouraged to lead with confidence, influence others positively, and apply their learning in realistic, high-impact scenarios. The focus is on initiative, judgement, and delivering results while supporting those around them.
By the end of Term 3, participants are not just more confident. They are more capable, composed, and prepared to lead in real-world environments.
Each term is designed to stand alone, while also contributing to a broader leadership journey. Skills are revisited, extended, and applied at increasing levels of challenge, ensuring learning is retained and behaviours genuinely change.
This progressive structure allows participants to grow steadily, build credibility through action, and develop leadership skills that last well beyond the programme.
Building Tomorrow’s Leaders
At Front Foot, we believe leadership should begin early. The Future Leaders Program is built on the idea that children and young people thrive when they are given the confidence, skills, and opportunities to step into leadership roles from a young age.
Through dynamic workshops, real-world challenges, and interactive activities, participants learn how to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, make decisions under pressure, and lead with integrity. These experiences don’t just prepare them for school or university—they build essential life skills that shape their future.
Why start young? Because resilience, adaptability, and confidence are best developed early, giving young people a head start in becoming the kind of leaders our world needs: thoughtful, collaborative, and forward-thinking. By learning through action rather than theory, students leave the program with skills and values that will serve them for life—whether in the classroom, the workplace, or their wider community.
With Front Foot, tomorrow’s leaders begin building their journey today.
What do we deliver?
Over the ten weeks of the Leadership for Life course, students embark on a journey that begins with the foundations of teamwork and communication before moving into more complex challenges. They learn to solve problems creatively, adapt when plans change, and build trust within their teams. As the weeks progress, they take on ethical decision-making, conflict resolution, and leading under pressure – always with increasing responsibility. The programme culminates in a desert leadership weekend, where students put their skills into practice in a unique environment, testing their resilience, teamwork, and ability to lead in real-world conditions.
